Me and my Daddy

I'm not usually the cuddling, lounging type of dog, but on occasion I get a great opportunity to hang with Daddy. He even let me on the futon! Mmmm. Life is good.

Ring the Bell

Mommy tied bells to the door. I really like them because now I can ring the bell and someone comes running to let me out. It is much better than our old potty system. I used to sit by the door to be let out, but sometimes no one saw me sitting there quietly. Mommy and Daddy don't like me to bark in the house (on outside, for that matter) so I just sat there quietly. Then I HAD to go. Mommy had to clean up the carpet by the door a lot. Now, all I have to do is ring the bell to go out. YIPPEE! (That's what Mommy says, anyway.) Next time you visit our house please remember: when you hear a jingle it's time to take a tinkle!

Some of my favorite things

When I was smaller, with smaller teeth, I used to like the Calming Treat Ball. Now I just chew them up. I love toys with long, floppy arms and legs. My monkey is really fun. So is my spider. I'm on my second spider now. I tore the legs off the first one. Mommy says it was an octopolegic spider. My new spider still has 7 and 1/2 of its legs, and that's after a couple months of fun, fun, fun.

I like the squeaky toys too. The spider honks. Kind of like Daddy snoring.

My Alpha Daddy

I love my daddy. He's the Alpha Male in the house. Mommy calls him Alpha Daddy. When I get out of hand my human sister says, "Daddy, we have an alpha dog emergency!" Then Daddy growls and puts me in my place. He's a good growler. I aspire to his greatness and listen to him at all times. I even stop chewing on things to listen!

Happy Birthday to me!

December 1st is my birthday. That's what we're saying, anyway. Mommy and Daddy don't know when my birthday is exactly, so we picked a date that is easy to remember. I had a great birthday, too. There was dog park fun, a trip to the pet supply store, and some goodies for dinner. Then Mommy tried to take my picture. I would LOVE to lick that camera. Maybe next time.
